dc.description.abstract |
The study is about Corporate Social University practices in a University Setting aimed at to examine the determinants of corporate social responsibility. Descriptive and explanatory research design and a quantitative research approach was employed. Questionnaires and document analysis had been used as data gathering tools. Stratified sampling for the purpose of collecting information by using questionnaire was used to sample respondents. Data had been collected from head human resources bureau of University of Gondar and the official website of the University. A total of 349 sample respondents were involved as respondents of the study but only 299 respondents response was analyzed and interpreted using descriptive (using percentage, and frequency, mean scores) and inferential statistics(using Pearson Correlation coefficient and multiple linear regression). After analyzing the response rate of respondents, the researcher had concluded that the university practices CSR well and the three of analyzed determinants: management creativity, effective communication and quality of education has a linear relation with the CSR practices of University of Gondar.
