dc.description.abstract Abstract Background:Abortion is one of the leading causes of maternal death in the world especially in developing countries. However, the implementation of comprehensive abortion care had not been evaluated previously. Objective: The objective of this study was aimed to evaluatethe process of comprehensive abortion care service in Gondar city health centers, Northwest Ethiopia. Methods: Facility-based case study design and concurrent triangulation mixed-method were employed from February 15 to May 10/2020. A total of 301 Comprehensive Abortion Care clients were interviewed, three-month documents reviewed,30 observations and 16 key informant interviews were conducted. The quantitative data were entered into Epi-Data version 4.6.2 and exported to Stata version 14 for analysis. In the multivariable logistic regression analysis, variables with < 0.05 p-values and Adjusted Odds Ratio II affected the client’s satisfaction.Therefore, health care managers and health care providers should avail essential drugs and provide a service based on the standards and client’s preference of the client to enhance satisfaction.
