Abstract
Background: vaccines are the most effective preventive and success of public
health to control and eradicating serious childhood diseases. Both early and
delay in childhood vaccination can result failure of generating antibody against
the diseases. However, evidences on childhood vaccination timeliness are limited
in developing countries including Ethiopia.
Objective: This study is aimed to assess vaccination timeliness and associated
factors among children aged 12 to 23 months in Jabitehnan district, West Gojjam
zone, Northwest Ethiopia, 2020.
Methods: A community based cross-sectional study was conducted in
Jabitehnan district from 28 February to 18 March 2020. A total of 548 children
aged 12-23 months were included using stratified multi-stage sampling
technique. Data were collected by Interviewer administered semi-structured
questionnaire. Binary logistic regression model was fitted to identify factors and
adjusted odd ratio
