dc.description.abstract As speaking is one of the difficult shills in mastering English, the English teachers should investigate those factors affecting English speaking skill so as to attract students in developing their speaking skill. There for, this study designed to investigate and dig out the factor that hinder the development of English speaking skills and also attempts to point out the factors in terms of their seriousness in affecting English language skills. This study was sampled 125 students from the total number of 621 who were in enrolled for grade 10 and the four English language teachers were taken in 2012 E.C. at Deja Balcha Aba Nebso secondary school which is found in Oromia region in south west shoa, in waliso district to the specific in korke town. The researcher applied descriptive research as the method. To obtain the data the researcher used three kinds of instrument namely, questionnaire, interview and observation. Finally the conclusion part can be found in the last chapter. en_US
