A BIOGRAPHY OF FITÄWRARI ADMASU YEMAM OF MEÇA WÄRÄDA (1914-2000 G.C)

Abstract

This thesis presents the life of fitäwrari Admasu Yemam 1914-2000. He was the famous patriot fighter in Meça Wäräda. He was the founder of Märäwi town; center of the Wäräda, adminstrater of Aneded Wäräda, Mätäkel Awrajja, Dangla Zuria Wäräda, and lastly Meça Wäräda. Fitäwrari Admasu Yemam was originated from the royal family in his mother side by this he was able to rule different Wärädas in different period of time. His father, Ato latter fitäwrari Yemam Mäšäšä was one of the best linked personalities to King Täklä Haymanot of Gojjam and the Negus permitted him to marry one of the beautiful ladies among the royal family, W/ro Dinknesh Hailu. Therefore, the two spouses was once born my study area, fitäwrari Admasu Yemam. Different personality‟s particularly patriotic fighters have their own history either in written documents or oral traditions for the reconstruction of their major doings. The researcher focused the political career by asking aged individual informants, pictorial or photographic documents and also written materials. And this person was brave during the 20 th
