Abstract:
This study is aimed to assess the tourism potentials, challenges and economic contributions of
tourism resources in South Achefer Woreda. In the study, mixed research approaches were
employed. 161 samples were selected from target populations in South Achefer Woreda.
Descriptive research design, purposive and snow ball sampling technique were employed.
The result obtained that South Achefer Worda is endowed with natural, cultural, and
