dc.description.abstract The primary aim of this study was to identify the determinants of rural-urban migration in Gondar town. The study further focused on the analysis of major factors for migration to Gondar town; the characteristics of migrants. To meet the objective different data collected from CSA, and Gondar city Administration. Descriptive statistics was employed to analyze the data. From the literature review Age of household, Gender of the household head, Searching of jobs in 8 urban areas, Low prices for agricultural product, Nature of education system, Social services gap, Wage gap between rural and urban areas. en_US
