Abstract:
Now a day in the era of globalization social media is play a vital role for user students that
live are more provide free information and more influenced by the media. in turn. This thesis
explores the practices, opportunity and challenges using social media among user students the
case of fasiledes preparatory school Gondar. Ethiopia. During the study was carried on by
collects data from fasiledes preparatory school. Based on qualitative research approach. This
study practically understands using social media among students in this preparatory school.
Explore the practices opportunity and challenges was independent variable and using electronic
media among students is dependent variable.
The finding was revealed that were different psychological and social impacts of using social
media among students has negative effects. The data was collected from 30 respondent using
social media among students. Researcher selects non-random sampling. Among sampling
methods for relevant insightful. That selects purposive sampling- frame and the sampling size 30
respondent among the universe. The researcher analyzes by qualitative approach by in depth
interview and this study inquiry by cross sectional research with descriptive in nature.
In addition, the universe using social media among students has currently attended Preparatory
school student. It gains a vital role for that addressing basic information for social media user
students. Nevertheless, it also has challenge facing the problem of time management, media
literacy problem, psychosocial and social problem. Because the skill that what kind of data need
and when they search related contents and contextualized course received with messages.
